Dinki Di Cocktails

The cocktail scene is exploding with Australian native botanicals are coming back in a big way. Inspired by the Aussie bush, our staff here at Dinki Co curated a little list of Aussie cocktails, even a lil' nod to the old Koala Farts...

Oh yeahhhh! So Pretty, so tasty!

The New Sydney Sour

This one is from Aussie Gin makers Archie Rose, a rye sour with a red wine float.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 60 ml Virgin Cane Spirit

  • 30 ml lemon juice

  • 15 ml sugar syrup

  • 15ml egg whites

  • 15ml shiraz float to garnish

METHOD:

Shake twice, first without ice, then with ice to emulsify the egg white.

Fine strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.

Add red wine float.



Koala Fart Martini
Koala Fart Martini, nicer than it sounds

Koala fart martini

This eucalyptus twist on a classic drink Dinki Co's very own Koala Fart cocktail.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 60ml Gin

  • 15ml Eucalyptus syrup

  • 15ml Lime Juice

  • 30ml Cointreau

  • 1 Egg White

  • Eucalyptus Leaf for garnish

METHOD

Add all ingredients, save for the garnish, to a shaker and dry shake without ice.

Add ice and shake again until chilled.

Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a eucalyptus leaf.



Dinki Co Cocktail
The Pav cocktail without the cream, still tasty!

The Pav

Delicious and sweet, a perfect drink for any Aussie occasion, meet the classic Pavlova - in drink form!

INGREDIENTS:

  • 60ml Vodka

  • 30ml Vanilla liquer

  • 45ml Lemon Juice

  • 2 strawberries, chopped

  • 60ml Passionfruit pulp (canned or fresh passionfruit)

  • 1 egg white

  • Garnish with whipped cream (optional)

METHOD

In a shaker give strawberries a good squish, then add the remaining ingredients with ice and shake.

Double-strain into a chilled whiskey glass. Garnish with whipped cream and passionfruit (optional) Like it sweeter? Try this recipe!
